Ho, Volta Region, Ghana — The Young and Loud Festival has officially announced its artist lineup for the second edition, set to take place on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Mawuli School, starting at 9 AM. This year’s theme, Skills, Opportunities, and Jobs, aims to empower young people in Ho by providing a platform for them to express their creativity and advocate for their pressing concerns.
The festival promises an exciting array of talent, featuring energetic performances from both singers and dance groups. Among the standout acts are:
Chief One
Michael Ivan Kofi Nyagamagu, known professionally as Chief One, is a dynamic Ghanaian Hip-hop and Hiplife artist, rapper, and songwriter hailing from Ziope in the Volta Region. He creates music in his native Eʋe language, as well as in Pidgin. Known for hits like “Turn by Turn,” “Wotelewoea,” and “Du Agbe,” he brings an infectious sound that’s guaranteed to keep everyone on their feet.
Nyornu
Also joining the lineup of artists is Nyornu, an emerging Ghanaian artist whose name means “woman” in the Ewe dialect, and who is making waves with her enchanting RnB and Afrosoul vibes. This year, she debuted with her first single, “Silly Me,” which garnered positive acclaim, followed by the captivating tracks “Ale” and “Questions,” establishing herself as a fresh voice in the Ghanaian music scene with her unique sound and heartfelt performances.
Rizzlah Stylah
Noted for his dynamic performances and versatility, Rizzlah Stylah is a Reggae Dancehall artist from the Volta regional capital in Ghana. As a talented songwriter and recording artist, he also explores other genres, including RnB, Afrobeats, and hip-hop. Known for tracks like “Drip on Drip” and “Money Matter,” Rizzlah Stylah’s energetic vibe is guaranteed to light up the stage, making the Young and Loud Festival 2024 a must-see for anyone who loves good music.
Blazebwoy
Ghanaian singer Blazebwoy has been making waves in the music scene with his talent and dedication to AfroPop and Afrodancehall. His songs, such as “Follow Me,” “Money,” and “Enjoyment,” showcase his ability to craft infectious melodies and relatable themes, drawing listeners deeper into his vibrant world.
Homeboyz
Rounding out the lineup, the dance crew Homeboyz is back with even more moves after their impressive run at last year’s festival. Expect a show-stopping performance full of sharp choreography and unmatched energy.

About the Young and Safe Project:
The Young and Safe project is a three-year initiative that aims to address key issues such as youth participation in city governance, sexual and reproductive health, mental health support, creative self-expression, and digital employment opportunities. The project is a collaboration between Node Eight, Ho Municipal Assembly, LoveAid Foundation, and Ghana Education Service and is supported by Fondation Botnar through the Healthy Cities for Adolescents Program (HCA-||), managed by Ecorys UK. The initiative aims to develop an inclusive and supportive community for young people in Ho, Volta region, Ghana by leveraging the capabilities of each partner.
