Since we launched in 2017, we have never looked back in our five years of operation. Node Eight has invested in young innovators and startups building the future. We have given young people the tools they need to establish sustainable ventures and be ready for the future of work through digital skills training in emerging technologies, entrepreneurship support programs, and building an inclusive space and community.
Our mission is to build a pipeline of ethical digital talents and investment-ready technology-enabled African startups. And we have so far lived up to this with the number of individuals we have trained in skill acquisitions, the businesses we have supported, our community outreaches, and the number of digital talents trained and employed.
Node Eight has not been alone in this pursuit of providing funding opportunities, capacity-building programs in emerging technologies, and entrepreneurship support programs to young African talents. Throughout these five years, we have partnered with GiZ, UNDP, GTL/MasterCard, AGI, and Ho Technical University, among others.
Our partnership with GiZ launched the E-Skills4Girls program. 50 women in the Adaklu Kojobi and Have communities went through a 10-days training in basic electronic skills. Node Eight also partnered with UNDP and launched the SDG Incubation Program to help the growth of startups investing in solutions related to the Sustainable Development Goals. And with support from MEST Africa and MasterCard Foundation, we trained 90 young people living in Ho, Volta Region in Digital Marketing. The free training program was designed to provide training and work experience opportunities to unemployed and underemployed youth to help them launch careers in the digital marketing space.
Our commitment has seen over 1000 young people trained under our skills training programs, organized 15 different community outreaches, provided support for 15 businesses under our enterprise support program, trained 400 Entry Level digital talents, and employed 100 of the talents trained.
Our impact in five years is evidence that we are on course to be among the Top 10 Most innovative companies and become a Digital talent hotbed, and venture builder in Africa. And as we celebrate our 5th Anniversary, we call on Ghana, Africa, and the World to join us celebrate, join us as we continue to impact and set the digital revolution agenda.
