Two Node Eight Startups set to pitch at the Grand finale of the MTN Platforms Accelerator Competition  

Wasteman Ltd and Aduanefie Marketplace, startups in the Node Eight Community have been selected to pitch at the 2023 MTN Grand finale of the MTN Platform Accelerator Program scheduled for January 20, 2023, at the MTN Ghana Headquarters in Accra.  

The event which is expected to bring together over 30 innovative startups supported by 20 tech hubs across Ghana to demonstrate the innovative ways in which these startups leverage MTN’s platforms—Ayoba, chenosis, and MoMo—to achieve their business objectives. 

About the startups  

• Wasteman Ltd is a pioneering waste technology company that utilizes a diverse range of innovations to elevate collection & recycling rates through source segregation. Wasteman is co-founded by Mark Benjamin and Roger Kofi Gyening.  
• Aduanefie Marketplace is a digital marketplace that combines farming equipment, fertilizers, farm produce, and expert advice from millions of suppliers and farmers in African agriculture. Aduanefie is co-founded by Emmanuel Johnson-Excellent and Ernest Mimsach.  

Node Eight will provide Wasteman Ltd and Aduanefie Marketplace with technical support and pitching training to adequately prepare them for the demo day session in Accra.
