August 17, 2024, the Youth Speak Forum took place at Mawuli School, bringing together young leaders, stakeholders, and parliamentary candidates for Ho Central to discuss important issues facing the youth of Ho.
The forum opened with a warm welcome from the Volta Heritage Dance Ensemble, showcasing traditional music and dance, and setting a vibrant tone for the Youth Speak Forum.
Various stakeholders and organizing partners took the stage to address the audience, emphasizing their commitment to supporting youth initiatives and fostering collaboration.
Each candidate shared their visions and plans to address pressing community issues during the Youth Speak forum if elected. Key speakers included aspiring MPs like Mawulorm Kwame Klutse (Independent) and Edem Kofi Kpotosu (NDC), although the NPP candidate, Hon. Divine RK Bosson (Current/Outgoing Ho Municipal Chief Executive), was notably absent.
Elvis Kofi Bomasah led a panel discussion with the candidates, where they discussed key issues affecting the youth and outlined their proposed solutions.
