Venture Builders Pipeline

For ambitious graduates and early-career professionals who want to become the engineers, innovators, and leaders powering Africa's next generation of technology ventures. Three tracks, one goal: transforming entry-level talent into experienced builders.

Eight Digital Apprenticeship

Our flagship. Entry-level graduates are placed alongside experienced practitioners inside the Node Eight venture studio for 12 to 24 months. Working on live products with real users and real deadlines, apprentices develop deep proficiency in software engineering, data science, product management, and UX design. By the end, they are not junior developers — they are builders.

Technology Track

Eight Innovation Fellowship

For those driven by ideas and the discipline to turn them into reality. Eight Fellows work on early-stage ventures within the studio — conducting research, running product discovery, building and testing prototypes, and learning what it actually takes to solve problems for underserved users. This track is where Node Eight's next generation of innovators is formed.Ideal for designers and problem solvers at heart.

Eight Operator Fellowship

Great ventures need great operators — not just great engineers. This fellowship develops the startup managers, business development leads, finance directors, and operations heads who keep ventures running and growing. Covering startup management, sales, legal, finance, and operations, this track builds the African operators who will run the continent's most important companies.

Champion digital inclusion
