Career conversations with Mrs Malwine Amenu, Stanbic Bank Branch Manager on sundown

The second edition of Nodeeight flagship community storytelling event, “Sundown,” was held on Saturday, 7th May 2022, at Node Eight hub after a long break in production.

Sundown is a storytelling event that brings together unsung heroes in our community and a selected audience to engage in an intimate by-fire-side conversation. Sundown seeks to inspire, educate and provoke the audience to action with the success and failure stories of the narrator.

Also, to use the life story of the speakers to teach career and entrepreneurship lessons while stimulating an authentic conversation on values and principles for a successful life.

The second edition, which was in three segments, hosted the Manager of Stanbic Bank Ho, Mrs Malwine Amenu as the guest speaker. Mrs Amenu, whose journey began after National Service as a Receptionist at Stanbic Bank Spintex Branch.

Through diligence and hard work, she rose through the ranks and is currently the Manager at the Ho Branch.

“You must always be determined to achieve your goals no matter where you come from and do what it takes to get your foot in the door. Be humble, persistent, and capable of making a U-turn when things aren’t going well. No matter your career trajectory, make sure you deliver your best.” Mrs Amenu to her attentive audience.

The three-hour event concluded with interactions with the speaker and networking with other attendees.
