Node Hub Foundation in partnership with Reach for Change Ghana and Social Enterprise Ghana is embarking on advocacy training under the ForumSyd Project for organizations working closely with women, youth, and other vulnerable groups in the Volta Region.
The training program is scheduled for Saturday, August 29, 2020, at 10:00 am. The venue is Node Hub located at Dr Alexander Sapara Grant’s residence near the Holy Spirit Catholic Church or off the Nogora Junction Bob Coffie Hostel Road, Ho Technical University
The training program is part of the larger forumSyd project that seeks to identify and sensitize NGOs, CSOs, Religious Groups, Women Groups, and Market Associations on their economic rights and how to access these rights to improve the livelihoods of their members/beneficiaries.
The training session is designed to empower these organizations on how to approach and engage State Agencies or Duty Bearers to access their economic rights.
The trainees would be expected to attend a policy dialogue event that provides the platform for them to directly engage with selected Duty Bearers on Saturday, 26 September 2020.
We believe the time is now for the voices of the youth, women, and disabled in our various communities to be included in the National dialogue. This is why we call on all organizations working closely with women, youth, and the vulnerable in our community to join the training and policy dialogue.
