Six Node Hub trainees, who successfully graduated from the Ghana Tech Lab’s (GTL) Digital Media skills training program have commenced internship in various organizations in Ho.
Node Hub with its commitment to contribute to the improvement of youth unemployment in Ghana is supporting GTL’s Employability program by connecting trainees to tech-based organisations in the Volta Region in order to develop technical and business skills for increased employability, competitiveness and entrepreneurship.
This will ensure that interns benefit from further training, certification scholarships and a digital jobs fair to increase their chances at being retained or employed by these organisations.
Through the Base Innovation Program, the internship will enable them hone their technical skills and to enable them acquire hands-on experience in their chosen fields.
The Interns earlier benefited from pre-commencement sessions, to acquire soft skills, freelancing and career development skills.
The organisations which ranged from major players in the creative economy to real estate will for 2 months aid our interns to strengthen their hard and soft skills. .
The 2 -month internship allowance will encourage interns to stay committed and have the opportunity to develop themselves.
This program precedes a Digital Skills Job Fair to provide a platform to connect Employers to Job seekers and also increase opportunities for our interns to be recruited.
