Thirty young people under Pre-MEST’s Digital Marketing Training have climaxed their 8-week training period with a Final Demo Day.
Node Hub empowered the young trainees with digital skills deemed essential in launching their careers in Digital Marketing.
The training which combined hands-on learning with real-work experience began in September 2021.
During the 8-week period, the trainees were exposed to various digital marketing concepts including Principles of Marketing, Digital Advertising, Content Strategy, and Content Creation, Writing for Digital Media, and Graphic Design, Video production, among others.
The Demo Day held on 29th October, provided the trainees with a platform to share insights on their Digital Marketing Journey and skills they have acquired during the period.
The trainees espoused their professional goals and the impact of the training in setting up these goals.
The newly trained cohorts would embark on a 4-week paid internship to gain relevant work experience as well as skills acquisition in various national and international organizations.
The Pre-MEST program is in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, their Young Africa Works with Node Hub as an implementing partner.
